We went on vacation for Labor Day, and had a blast. 12-hour drive there (at night), wasn't too bad. Staying awake was the hard part (:P). The drive back, we did during the day, and it kicked our butts. We did all the stopping and stretching we were supposed to, but around 4/5 hours from home, I started getting bad cramps each time I would go to sit back down. It continued a few days after the trip, as well, so off to the ER we went (again!). This time, we drove the hour to get to the better hospital, and I'm glad-the experience was much better, even if I did still have a cranky doctor. It turns out I had an infection, so I got prescribed a killer of an antibiotic that kicked my butt.
My oldest started his first day of preschool the day after we got home. Bickie is looooving the alone time every Tuesday and Thursday :)
We went in for our gender/anatomy ultrasound already. The lady was very nice-they are only allowed to give 1 photo, but she snuck us out with some extras :)
Cue the cheesy drumroll....
It's a girl <3 We're getting our final piece to our family puzzle! Everyone's excited, even if Granddad is still in denial.
She is a crazy kicker, too. I'm getting beat up from all angles here lately. It took this long for me to feel the kicks at all with my first, and we're already seeing my belly jump around from the outside-it's amazing and surreal :) I'm enjoying every moment of it, though, cause I know it's the last time :(
