Oh crud...

15 weeks!!!

haha, I'm a horrible blogger ^_^;;; I'm going to start off by saying WOO SECOND TRIMESTER! YAAAY! Eh-hem...Well, since the last update, I ended up in the ER again. On our anniversary. It was craptastic. I woke up that morning in hooorible pain. There was a huge knot of pain around my diaphragm, and a pain in my lower left back that felt like kidney pain. I was crazy nauseous (but not in a morning sickness way, make sense?), lightheaded... I. Was. Miserable. Hubby called my midwife, but by the time I got a call back, they were about to close, so they had me run to the ER to get iv fluids. I ended up getting 2 bags of fluid, 2 doses of stadol, zofram, some anti-diarrhea med, and I lost track after that. The overall experience was horrible. The doc on call (the same one from last time, urgh!) heard me say "pregnant", and "pain", looked me dead in the eye, and said that I was miscarrying. All my bloodwork came back fine, and the ultrasound tech said he was nuts.

The triage ladies were nice, though. Before I was even finished getting put into the computer, they were wheeling me into the triage room. They were panicking. The idiot doc never even looked at all my symptoms. They basically drugged me up, then sent me home. When we picked up the boys from a friends house, I puked in their kitchen, and again in their yard. **Embarrassed :(**

My appointment was a few days later, and it only took them a moment to figure out what had happened. I had a gall bladder attack, and very possibly passed a gall stone :( Yikes. So now I'm on a horribly unfair no/low fat diet, and nexium. It all seems to be helping, too. I'm only in pain when I have a stubborn moment and slather my food with butter (or something similar). Good to know. Gall bladder-definitely NOT a miscarriage! A few weeks later, and I'm still strongly pregnant. Take that, idiot doc.

Now for some nifty good news :D :D :D :D I'm feeling the baby move! I've had a few moments here and there where I was pretty sure it was baby moving, but not like this. Yesterday, after I finished off a fruit and yogurt parfait, this little one when to popcorning away in there! Again, today, after eating a bit of (light) ice cream <3 It seems sugar is the trigger, lol..I can't wait until I feel more-and until the hubby can feel it, too!

Good news, part 2: My ultrasound-my big, we find out what the baby is, ultrasound-is scheduled for September 15th :D Cant. Wait!!! Squeee!
